Universal Controller has numerous automation capabilities and a rich API.

It allows you to manage automation on all of your platforms.

In this section, we will simply review the fundamentals of the application.

After logging into Universal Controller, you are greeted with our home page. The home page contains the home dashboard, and a panel on the left side of the page that lists any services that you have favorited for easy access.

The Services menu contains all the records or object types that are available with Universal Controller.

To add a record type to the left navigation panel, click the star icon next to the record type in Available Services.

You can also create a record type by clicking on the New icon.

A drop-down menu beneath your name will allow you to address your preferences.

The global search enables you to search the user interface for records based the name, description, and/or the member of business services.

Dashboards are a set of widgets that provide quick access to information about the Universal Controller, system information, and report data. The controller home dashboard displays when you log into the controller.

You can also customize and share your own dashboards.

Within Universal Automation Center, a single task is the smallest unit of work within the application. Some use the term task and jobs interchangeably.

A workflow allows users the ability to organize and connect a series of tasks to perform a business function.

The activity monitor is the central console of activity and provides a real-time display of task status.

The activity monitor is one method which allows you the ability to view the status of your workload.

Monitors provide users with the ability to monitor for specific conditions based on various monitoring criteria.

The lifecycle management feature is used to promote objects, including reports and dashboards between environments, such as development, test, and production.

Agents provide details for each agent and gives you the ability to view details and perform some agent functions.

An agent executes a wide variety of workflow types with any workload automation solution from any vendor and on any supported platform in a hybrid IT landscape.

Connections facilitate building connections to emails, databases, and applications.

Systems facilitate operation setup. You have access to records that define your universal automation system.

Administration allows you to manage users and groups, create custom templates, and configure overarching applications and security settings.

Stonebranch has active community of developers who constantly add integrations to enhance the core solution.

The Integration Hub provides access to prebuilt installable enhancements, which allow end users the ability to orchestrate automated processes that span across their existing applications and platforms.

Forecast displays forecasting information on time-based triggers and the tasks they launch. You can view the forecast list in the Forecast calendar.

Reporting allows you to build reports in custom dashboards.

We have reviewed UAC's fundamental capabilities, tasks, workflows, triggers, activity monitor, filtering, forecasting, and audits.
