Atlanta, GA | June 11, 2014 - Stonebranch Inc., a leading provider of modern workload automation solutions, has partnered with Dell as leading computer Technology Company to demonstrate their ability to deliver the high performance solutions required to meet the business challenges of tomorrow's banking industry requirements for workload automation. The stellar result of this thorough benchmark study is an astounding 3.2 million tasks per day in a Dell PowerEdge M-series blade server line.

This performance test was executed using Dell PowerEdge M620 blade servers in a M1000e Blade Chassis connected through 10 Gbit Ethernet Dell MXL Switches. The test cases showed that the system is capable of securely handling the complete individual life cycle of ~3.2 Million tasks/day on the tested blade based hardware. These numbers have been achieved both by executing task sequentially, as well as by executing them concurrently in a Workflow. Also a 14h long duration test showed no impact on the performance.

The key results of the benchmark tests are as follows:

  • 3.2 Million Tasks /day with all logging and transaction security features enabled.
  • Parallel Execution of tasks had no impact on the task throughput - 3000 tasks in parallel showed the same throughput as sequentially executed.
  • Throughput rates remain stable over time - a 14h test showed no degradation of the task throughput
  • The execution of the actual Linux Process by the Universal Agent had no relevant impact on the performance
