Return on Automation model reaps rewards for Stonebranch

Stonebranch reveals strong first half-year results 2018 and announces new Universal Agent and Universal Controller releases, empowering DevOps practices and enhancing business integration e.g. PeopleSoft and SAP.

Stonebranch Inc., a leading provider of modern workload automation and job scheduling solutions, carried the momentum of 2017 into 2018 with incredible first half-year results. Revenues were very strong, with growth totaling 50%. New customer acquisition beat expectations on the back of Stonebranch’s innovative Return on Automation model.

The Return on Automation model centers around organizations’ investment in automation and the right automation tool, with immense payoffs and numerous benefits evident very soon after implementation. These include greater efficiency and security, faster processes, seamless integration and much more besides – all generating increased profits for customers.

New customers include such well-known and respected companies as BP, Expedia Group, Campbell Soup Company, Inovalon USA, PHH Mortgage, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and e-Boks. Furthermore, the United States Army – the largest branch of the US armed forces – chose Stonebranch to be its automation partner.

Reinforcing IT organizations through intelligent workload automation

Stonebranch’s automation platform provides IT organizations with the right tools to easily and securely automate core business processes across system boundaries and between clouds. This satisfies digital transformation demands, where workloads are increasingly migrating from traditional data centers to both private and public cloud data centers.

The new Universal Agent release comes with an integrated Python runtime environment (RTE), allowing users to harness the full power of Universal Tasks for their DevOps practices while always having the required RTE version at their disposal.

Furthermore, the new release of Universal Controller empowers Ops with new and optimized integration for PeopleSoft Tasks. Never before has it been easier for Peoplesoft users to run and manage Peoplesoft processes, jobs and jobsets without the involvement of automation experts. The new release also enhances the security and usability of Universal Controller by integrating itself into your single sign-on (SSO) solution via SAML.

“In 2017, we made a commitment to deliver best-in-class solutions and the highest Return on Automation,” states Dr. Detlef Purschke, Vice Chairman and Chief Commercial Officer at Stonebranch. “Our first half-year results 2018 are evidence that this innovative approach is working. Companies throughout the world are staying on top of their automation landscape and gradually moving workloads to the cloud as part of their digital transformation journey without ever missing out on the benefits of intelligent workload automation!”
