Stonebranch, a leading provider of service orchestration and automation solutions, today announced the release of Universal Data Mover Gateway (UDMG) version 2.0.
As part of the Universal Automation Center platform, UDMG is a proprietary B2B managed file transfer (MFT) software solution that securely transfers data from one enterprise to another.
“UDMG is central to Stonebranch’s vision for enabling our customers to pass data across their entire end-to-end MFT landscape,” said Peter Baljet, CTO at Stonebranch. “With Stonebranch, enterprises have full management capabilities to transfer data internally, between on-prem and the cloud, between multiple clouds, and between B2B business partners, vendors, and suppliers.”
UDMG Version 2.0 Updates Include:
- Enhancements to the user experience, featuring an updated user interface (UI) look and feel, easier navigation and usability, and customizable brand options.
- Introduction of ad-hoc file transfers to securely and conveniently share downloadable files via a link.
- Augmented security features incorporating the latest encryption standards and continued support of ISO 27001 and AICPA SOC2 standards.
- Addition of OpenPGP, which enables users to set up, store, and manage PGP keys for comprehensive end-to-end file encryption.
- Expanded database support for popular systems like MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
As a component of Stonebranch Universal Automation Center, UDMG combines automation with MFT to enable end users with managed file transfer orchestration. File and data transfers are seamlessly integrated into broader automation and orchestration workflows.
"Integrating managed file transfer into Universal Automation Center sets Stonebranch apart," said Baljet. "File transfers are a common task in IT automation, often appearing multiple times in workflows. Simultaneously managing both the task and the process simplifies life for IT Ops, DevOps, and DataOps teams."
