Scheduling and Orchestration of Docker Containers in a Heterogeneous IT Landscape

See how Universal Automation Center integrates Docker containers into existing enterprise workflows — without replacing your legacy systems.

Docker containers rarely run in isolation. In most enterprise environments, they sit alongside SAP, legacy ERP systems, Oracle databases, and CRM applications. That mixed landscape is where scheduling gets hard.

This demo shows how Stonebranch Universal Automation Center handles it. Nils Buer walks through a live commission calculation workflow: when new sales data arrives, UAC automatically pulls the latest Docker image from a private registry, copies data into the container, runs the calculation, and routes the output report to an approval team. Once approved through the self-service portal, the tested workflow promotes to production in a single step. Credentials and environment variables are mapped automatically. No reconfiguration required.

One platform. One interface. Containerized and legacy workloads running together.
