New UAC Integrations for IT Automation
A live demo walkthrough of the latest Stonebranch integrations — from Kubernetes job orchestration and cloud file transfer to OpenTelemetry observability with Grafana and Dynatrace.
Enterprise automation environments don't sit still. New platforms get adopted, cloud providers multiply, and observability requirements grow. UAC integrations grow with them.
In this webinar, Nils Buer, VP of Solution Management, and Len Seemann, Product Management Coordinator, walk through the newest additions to the Stonebranch Integration Hub with live demos. The session covers integrations across four areas: SAP enhancements, cloud file transfer, container orchestration, and observability.
On the SAP side, the SAP Event History Monitor and Calendar Import task now support standard SAP connection objects — the same connection used for ABAP and BW process chain tasks — including load balancing and SNC encryption. The Calendar Import task also supports custom days that persist through re-imports. On the cloud file transfer side, the inter-cloud data transfer task gains SharePoint support with both client credential and delegated permission flows, plus new remotes for Dropbox, Google Drive, Azure Files, and Google Cloud Storage. For container orchestration, Nils demos live Kubernetes job execution on OpenShift — including running jobs triggered by a GitHub webhook, dynamic job YAML deployment from a repository, multi-container log retrieval, and job lifecycle management. Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Amazon ECS support are also covered.
Len Seemann then demos the new System Monitor integration, which tracks CPU, memory, disk, and network metrics from Windows and Linux servers via OpenTelemetry. He walks through pre-built sample dashboards for both Grafana (using Grafana Alloy) and Dynatrace, including trace correlation, log filtering by task ID, and UAC Controller overview dashboards powered by Dynatrace Davis AI.
Additional integrations covered in the session include Jira Service Desk for event management, Prefect Cloud for Python-based data pipeline orchestration, Talend Cloud, Amazon EMR, Azure Synapse, the Jobs as Code task for GitHub-based job definitions, a CSV and JSON processing utility, and a for-each loop task for mass parameter execution.
