IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler Replacement

It's time to break free and try our industry redefining Universal Automation Center (UAC). Achieve maximum acceleration and start simplifying the way operational staff define and manage end-to-end business processes. Begin your automation journey by transitioning your legacy TWS jobs, TWS mainframe or Tivoli workload scheduler, over to a modern IT orchestration and automation platform. Replace IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler to free up your potential

There are a number of legacy IT automation tools still in use today. However, automation is increasingly viewed as a strategic enabler. With this shift, technology has come a long way in recent history. If you're on this page, it's likely that you want to replace IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler. TWS, formerly known as OPC or Tivoli workload scheduler, is a “legacy” workload automation or batch job scheduling engine that has been on the market for the last 30 years. Enterprises have found it increasingly difficult to integrate modern systems to their IBM TWS or the Tivoli workload scheduler, which includes the distributed system component of IBM mainframe scheduling.

This is where Stonebranch comes in. We have a long history of helping enterprises migrate from TWS mainframe or Tivoli workload scheduler to our Universal Automation Center (UAC). We guarantee a smooth, risk-mitigated, commercially attractive, and successful transition from any of the TWS scheduling solutions. The UAC empowers your teams with an intuitive, easy-to-use, graphical workload automation solution. Instead of being limited by a set of locked-down integrations native to TSW or Tivoli workload scheduler, our end-users have universal access to integrate with any mainframe, on-prem, or cloud-based environment. Read on to learn how to open up your potential!

Replace IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler With the Universal Automation Center (UAC)

Reporting and Monitoring

Universal Automation Center (UAC) comes with a variety of standard reports. Quickly view audit information, forecasts, and activity reports. Leverage more than 20 pro-active monitoring and alert features.

Product Integration

UAC is the only workload automation solution to provide an open integration platform. In other words, you're no longer limited by your automation vendor's integration list. Break down automation silos from z/OS to cloud to containerized microservices. You can even integrate with other automation engines.

Scalability

The core UAC automation engine scales from a few hundred transactions per day, all the way up to tens of millions. Out of the box, the solution supports both departmental and enterprise-level automation programs. Plus, it's ready to grow with your business.

Return on Automation:

Your Universal Automation Center investment pays off quickly and returns many benefits. Gain more efficiency, faster processes, greater reliability, increased data throughput, and higher production. And do it all with real-time automation.

Bankia Improves Workload Automation Environment

Bankia is one of the leading and most profitable financial institutions in Spain. They were created in January 2011 from the integration of seven savings banks (Cajas) and are headquartered in Madrid. With a team of more than 13,000 professionals, Bankia focuses on providing efficient, high-quality services to individuals and businesses, especially SMEs and the self-employed.

The Bankia IT team was facing the difficulty of managing automated tasks across various platforms, including z/OS, AIX, Linux, Windows, and Solaris. Their challenges stemmed from handling and managing processes with their existing legacy agent technology. As a result, the IT team set out to evaluate IBM Tivoli alternatives with a focus on enabling cross-platform workflows and secure managed file transfers to help move data between systems.

The Bankia operations team selected Stonebranch's Universal Automation Center (UAC) to replace the IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler based on simplification, enhanced QoS, and overall efficiency.

Fast forward to today. Bankia uses a single solution to orchestrate all IT tasks/jobs and managed file transfers across a mainframe and distributed system environment. UAC helped Bankia to take IT automation to the next level by providing a truly universal technology that enabled Bankia to maximize their scheduling investment and control costs without adding risk.
