INFITRAN BASICS

COURSE GOAL:
Upon completion of the course, the participant will be able to transfer files between systems. Knowledge transfer includes an understanding of the terminology common within Infitran and file transfer in general.

CONTENT:

• Process definition and initiation
• Methods for configuration and basic options
• Basic file transfer commands
• Infitran scripting basics
• Sample scripts with hands on training

PARTICIPANTS:

• Engineers or those responsible for file transfer process creation
• Operators or those responsible for control and monitoring of processes
• Administrators or systems programmers who are responsible for the overall health of the system and who maintain and run the software
• Application programmers or those responsible for file transfer process creation
  

PREREQUISITES:
Participants must have knowledge of the operating systems from which processes are initiated.
When training on z/OS, basic knowledge of JCL and ISPF Edit is necessary.

CLASS SIZE: Maximum of 10 people

DURATION: 2 days
