Senior Network & IT Administrator

Mission

We are currently seeking for a talented and motivated Senior Network & IT Administrator with a collaborative work ethic and teamwork spirit to join our team in Athens office. The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide end-user support and administration for desktop, network, and servers. Respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, implement solutions, and provide recommendations. A strong background in operating systems and networking is required.

Position Responsibilities

Senior Network & IT Administrator supports and manages the following focus responsibility topics/processes:

  • Monitor performance and security of computer systems including laptops, desktops, firewalls, servers, websites, infrastructure and cloud services
  • Provide technical assistance of end users for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, network, VOIP phones, and company services
  • Install, modify, repair, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Maintain antivirus software for clients and server
  • Resolve technical problems through ticketing system
  • Provide SharePoint, Office 365 Attlasian Confluence and other Saas administration
  • Liaise with IT vendors
  • Report problems and recommendations to senior management
  • Assist Customer Support with case escalations
  • Other duties may be required

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years' experience as a Network/System Administrator
  • DNS, DHCP, and Routing Knowledge
  • Strong Office 365 Administration – must be strong
  • Microsoft Windows Administration – strong
  • (Azure) Active Directory
  • Antivirus and firewall monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting (preferably Watchguard)
  • Virtualization knowledge Hyper-V and VMWare
  • Experience with backups
  • SharePoint administration
  • Unix/Linux administration (can learn a little more)
  • Experience with Ansible (optional)
  • Basic knowledge with IaaS platforms e.g. AWS, Azure
  • Site-to-site and client VPN Peripheral installation, monitoring, and maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remain focused
  • Fluent language English and Greek - written and spoken
