Atlanta, GA (March 18, 2010) – Stonebranch, the industry leader in Managed File Transfer software for businesses and Job Scheduling technology, announced today the appointment of Detlev Riecke as sales director for its European operations, heading up all European marketing initiatives. Additionally, Christine Hensel has been promoted to Director of Technical Services for Europe, responsible for all professional services.

Riecke will also be responsible for the overall operations of the German office, bringing 20 years of professional experience in sales and marketing. Prior to Stonebranch, he was European sales director for OPNET and Compuware.

Previously, Christine Hensel was DACH marketing manager for Stonebranch. In her new role as director of technical services for Europe, she will coordinate the training and education programs for Stonebranch. In addition, Hensel will provide professional technical services for current and future clients.

Through these personnel changes, Stonebranch CEO and president Wolfgang Bothe will pull back from the operations area in Europe and concentrate on the general management of the company from the Stonebranch headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
