Key Responsibilities

• Full life-cycle development of commercial, multi-platform, distributed system software products on the Tandem NSK operating system.
• Maintenance of existing releases and development of new product releases.
• Contribute positively to a productive, business-oriented and quality-oriented team environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of BS in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years experience with the C programming language.
• 3+ years experience developing system software for the Tandem NSK operating system.
• Experience and proficiency working with Guardian G series O/S
• Strong working knowledge of the following Tandem NSK areas:
  
  
• OSS environment
• Guardian environment
• TACL scripts
• System Administration
• HP NonStop products including:
  - FUP
  - Pathway
  - Install
  - Backup
  - Restore
  - Safeguard
  - Netbatch and Spooler Utilities (Spoolcom and Peruse)
  - Parallel TCP/IP
  
  
• 1+ years experience with TCP/IP network programming.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Team and goal oriented.
• Development experience on other operating systems considered a plus.
