Summary

The position is responsible for managing the full life cycle of a commercial software application suite. The product suite consists of five distributed applications that run on a large array of platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluation and continued improvement of company software development processes.
• Evaluation and continued improvement of company product release and maintenance processes.
• Requirements management.
• Project planning, scheduling, executing, monitoring, and risk management.
• Team building.
• Maintain a high degree of product quality.

Requirements:

• Masters in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years experience as software developer.
• 5+ years experience as project manager for an Independent Software Vendor(ISV) managing the development of a commercial software product.
• Exceptional ability to organize, motivate and communicate with senior Software and QA engineers.
• Experience with multiple software development methodologies.
• Experience with IBM z/OS operating systems and corporate data processing environments considered a plus.
