Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced and highly successful Senior Account Executive. The Senior Account Executive is Stonebranch’s interface to customers and prospects and works independently in his or her territory on the entire process from prospect development & sales presentations to proposal writing & contract negotiations as well as post-close customer support.

The Senior Account Executive spends a significant amount of time directly with the customer/prospect interfacing with all levels of the organization, including senior management. The Senior Account Executive must be able to work as part of a team in an open environment, working closely with cross-functional, internal departments (Stonebranch Management, Systems Engineers, Professional Services and Accounting, etc.), as well as with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account planning and long term sales pipeline development
  • Accurately report pipeline development and forecast
  • Effectively manage the Stonebranch Sales Process
  • Develop and present Business Cases & Value Propositions to Customers
  • Grow visibility and product deployment in existing customers
  • Maintain working relationships with key mid and senior level managers at customers and prospects

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • The ideal candidate must be self-driven with an entrepreneurial edge, and have experience working on both small and large accounts.
  • Candidates must possess a confident personality suitable for handling cold calls and account management. Excellent presentation, organization, verbal and written communication are mandatory.
  • Candidates are expected to be able to converse fluently at all contact levels within an organization (from Junior to C-Level).
  • Candidates must possess and subscribe to high work and business ethics, and be extremely self-motivated.
  • Proven success selling complex IT solutions and Professional Services to Fortune 500 corporate IT organizations
  • Ability to listen to and understand a customer or prospect’s needs and the ability to propose the right solution
  • Working knowledge of Workload Management  and ITIL fundamentals
  • Relentless drive in achieving the end goal
  • Excellent work ethic with a positive can-do attitude
  • This position is ideal for someone who has experience working remotely with supporting working environment in place.
  • Some travel will be required for onsite presentations and visits to qualified prospects in addition to, trade shows etc.

Education/Experience

Minimum 8 years experience in Sales with 5 years experience specifically within the software industry. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. MBA preferred.
