Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional to start a sales career. This position will provide a training ground for less experienced sales representatives to be able to take on their own account base. They will work with our experienced sales team to learn Stonebranch’s corporate culture, products, markets, sales process and account management strategies.

This is a direct sales position. The Account Executive is Stonebranch’s interface to customers and prospects and works with guidance from the Sales Management in his or her own territory on the entire process from prospect development & sales presentations to proposal writing & contract negotiations as well as post-close customer support.  The Account Executive spends a significant amount of time directly with the customer/prospect interfacing with all levels of the organization.

The Account Executive must be able to work as part of a team in an open environment, working closely with cross-functional, internal departments (Stonebranch Management, Systems Engineers, Professional Services and Accounting, etc.), as well as with customers and partners.

Key strategic and tactical responsibilities include:

  • Develop relationships with customers and prospects through the use of phone calls, site visits, networking, webcasts and various other methods
  • Communicating the business value of Stonebranch to customers and prospects.
  • Qualify sales opportunities by relating the needs of customers and prospects to Individual Stonebranch Solutions
  • Report to management on customer relationships, pipeline, forecasts and new prospects
  • Effectively manage the Stonebranch Sales Process
  • Develop and present Business Cases & Value Propositions to Customers
  • Grow visibility and product deployment in existing customers
  • Maintain working relationships with customers and prospects

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • The ideal candidate must be self-driven with an entrepreneurial edge.
  • Candidates must possess a confident personality suitable for handling cold calls and account management. Excellent presentation, organization, time management  and verbal and written communication are mandatory.
  • Candidates are expected to be able to converse fluently at all contact levels within an organization.
  • Candidates must possess and subscribe to high work and business ethics, and be extremely self-motivated.
  • Professional, creative and dynamic presence and the ability to communicate with people
  • Keen intelligence and negotiation skills
  • Excellent expectations management and impeccable follow-up
  • Ability to understand at a high level Information Technology  functionality and terminology
  • Information Technology  knowledge or experience is a plus

Education/Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience in Sales required. Experience specifically within the software industry preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
